The Journey Walk

I’m walking along a gravel path. It goes straight for as long as the eye can see. The gravel crunches beneath my feet. I finally walk to the end of the path and there’s a forest. The trees have thick trunks and dark green leaves. I see a squirrel and turn away and look what is surrounding me. I fall on a root and end up in a big patch of rainbow colored flowers. I get up and start to walk. There I see a bright gold key. I look around to see if anyone dropped it, but there was no sound, not even the sound when animals step on a twig. So I picked up the key. I try to find the owner when I come upon a cup. It’s silver with tiny pictures on it but I don’t know what they look like because it’s too dark, so I picked up the cup, put it with the key and start to walk. About thirty minutes or so I’m by a stream. It’s not very wide but I don’t want to get wet. I look around and see some rocks, I start to walk over and I can tell that they’re slippery because there is moss on them. I go anyway. When I get across I’m relieved I didn’t fall in. I look and there is a brick wall right in front of me. I look to my left, then to my right. It’s almost as long as The Great Wall of China, but I’m determined to keep going so I take a sharp rock and try to push out the cement that holds the bricks together. I finally break the wall down and there’s a steep hill. My feet feel like heavy bricks strapped to my legs. Three hours later I make it down the hill, I turn around and the wall is resealed but it must be my eyes in the light. I turn around and there id a beautiful view. It has a big grass land and a tiny meadow. I see a small family, I look farther and see a tiny cottage. Then I look closer and it is my mom, dad, and siblings. I’m home at last! I look down at the cup again, and it’s my family!!
